Carol Crawford approaches weaving as an artistic experiment. What will happen to blue as it interacts with green and purple? She weaves in an improvisational way; knowing the structure of the piece, yet free to move color and pattern through the object. She wants her cloth to stand the test of time and exist as a beautiful creation.
After working in Tennessee and Maryland, Leslie established her ceramics studio in the Mad River Valley in 2004. Leslie is always evolving her work and strives to achieve a balance between positive and negative space, while incorporating the flow of nature.
